Friends,
I wanted to write a special note to announce the publication of my first novel, Miracles, and ask for your help! This is an exciting moment for me—something I’ve always wanted to do—and I’m grateful to you for allowing me to share it with you.
Miracles follows a newspaper reporter, Jaime Halasz, as she covers the story of what seem like supernatural events breaking out all over the city of Atlanta—mysterious lights in the sky, healings, and even a man walking on water. As she uncovers the man behind the miracles she’s forced to grapple with her own skepticism and disbelief while increasingly drawn into the center of events she can’t control.
Several years ago, I became fascinated with the question of how we all would react—in a world of ubiquitous smart phones and social media—if these miracles were caught on film and posted to Twitter. Would people believe, or become more divided?
The first few weeks of a book launch are important, so I’m asking for your help in two ways!
I’ve arranged for the ebook on Amazon to be free for the next 72 hours! Please download a copy now (for free!). You can also purchase the paperback edition if you prefer.
Please consider posting a short “verified” review by February 24th if you enjoy the book (honest reviews are welcome) and then sharing your thoughts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or your preferred platform!
I know so many of you would do so as a kindness and I am very appreciative. But I’d also like to show my gratitude by doing two things for those who post reviews and social content.
I will send you a signed and numbered edition of the paperback! Just provide a link to your verified review, your mailing address, and let me know whether to address it to you or someone else as a gift!*
I am giving away 3 Amazon Kindles, and will enter you into a drawing for one! In addition, if you share about the book on social media (sample blurb below!) and send me the link by replying to this email, I will enter your name twice in the drawing!
Feel free to forward and share this with those in your network who might also be interested. I’d also be open to speaking with book groups virtually as I am able.
I am very, very grateful for your readership here at On Purpose and will return to my normal posting on leadership, purpose, and investing in the next issue. Thank you for your support!!
Best,
John
*I’ll do this for as many as the first 200 who reply with their reviews!
Here’s a short blurb you could use on social media if you like:
